The Institut Français held a slogan contest last month on the theme “Invitation to learn French!”. Participation was open to everyone.

It’s high time to announce the three lucky winners of our contest. Well done to them, and a big thank you to all who participated.

The jury was: Ms. Latdany Latmany, professor at UNL and IFL, Mr. Sengchanh, writer and translator, Mr. Bounheng, director of Lao Youth Radio. We thank them very much.

The winners are:

1st prize: Miss Somathiida Keophilaphet, (ຮຽນພາສາຝຣັ່ງນໍາສູ່ອານາຄົດທີ່ສົດໃສ), a course session at IFL and a subscription to the media library;

2nd prize: Miss Panatda Phanthavong, (ທັກສະດ້ານພາສາຝຣັ່ງຈະພາເຈົ້າກ້າວໄກ), a 3-month media library and Culturethèque (virtual cultural centre) subscription, a book and various gifts.

2nd prize (tie): Miss Phonesavanh Keovilay, (ເປີດປະຕູສູ່ໂລກກວ້າງ ດ້ວຍການຮຽນ ພາສາຝຣັ່ງ), a 3-month media library and Culturethèque (virtual cultural centre) subscription, a book and various gifts.
