The “Institut français du Laos” is launching a call for proposal for the management of its café-restaurant in the form of a concession for the period from 1^st of November 2024 to 31 of October 2026.

Located on the premises of the French Institute but technically independent, the café-restaurant is a covered area of 88 m2, open to the outside, with a non-equipped kitchen. Complemented by two (uncovered) terraces of around 75 m2 overlooking the gardens, it can accommodate more than 60 customers simultaneously.

The Institute’s café-restaurant is a lively and dynamic place, characterized by the diversity of its customers: children, students, parents, tourists and employees of local businesses and organizations. The clientele is multicultural and multilingual (French, English, Lao).

The café-restaurant must therefore offer its customers both hot and/or cold drinks and simple, varied food (French/international and Lao dishes) covering the different times of the day (breakfast, lunch, snacks). The café-restaurant will be open at least during the Institute’s opening hours and possibly in the evening (closed on Sundays). The café-restaurant’s clientele consisting of both customers of the Institute and members of the general public, the service will have to be of high quality at affordable prices.
